Today.

Today I opened "The Whiteforest Hotel" again!!

(Well, without the hotel and just for a few minutes) Telling about the strategy, the planning and the making of the Whiteforest Hotel. Showing the nice photoes from the show and guiding them around in the different rooms. It was so nice for me to do this. My wish for the place is that this rooftop at the hospital will be filled with art.

Maybe it will.

Today it was artstudents from UIA who were entering the place, they will stay there for some weeks before they will make their own piece of art in one of the rooms, either performance, installation, video or whatever expression they´ll use! I´m so excited and look forward to their show!

I hope I managed to inspire them!

Dagens generalprøve!

Nå åpner vi dørene igjen!!

Fra 1- 4 november kl 19.00 kan du få muligheten til å sjekke inn på "The Whiteforest Hotel"/Sørlandets Sykehus  avd psykiatri.

Billettene er lagt ut på www.billettservice.no og det er bare plass til 40 publikummere hver kveld. Førstemann!!

Kulturelle Skolesekken i Oktober.

We are so proud of beeing part of the program "Den Kulturelle Skolesekken" here in Kristiansand. We´re going to welcome 500 children in 8grade in to our charming, a bit scary and beautiful hotel! This october.

I don´t know where this project will lead, but I want to thank Sørlandets Sykehus/ ABUP for helping me so much in this period, and for wanting us to play it again some time, at their hospital.

They have a lot of cultural activities for children and grown-ups, and for that I want to salute! Seeing the values between health and culture, its really great and important.

Everyone checking in at the Whiteforest gets this key. They can´t keep them.

Monday..

Getting closer!

Today was the day for real gratitude. I´m so thrilled by the very good people I work with. We´ve set all the scenes and are ready to just go on with run-throughs. After rehearsing a lot, doing a intervjue, planning where the car will stay, we got back to the first part of the building, seeing the most beautiful work of light!! Jørgen has done a great job, and together with Erik they rock the planet of nice art-works!!

Today. Sunday 23.01

We have been working in the dark!! Wao, that was a bit scary, I have to admit..
The children from the theatre-group were brilliant, and very courious about the cake. We all look forward to the smell of chocolate coming to the top floor, and the lovely coffe-smell at the other end of the building.

Today was the day of schoolroompratice, the wall of Freds memories and the room with all the feelings and all the letters.

The windows are blackened, the scenography are beautiful and all we think of is the acting and the actual guiding of 30 people..
